Tomato bruschetta, classic, easy and delicious. I’m all about texture so I replaced the toasted bread with ‘friselle’ for extra crunch!
4 friselle or grilled bread
2 handfulls ripe cherry tomatoes
1 clove of garlic
freshly ground black pepper
- Briefly soake the friselle in water, about 30 seconds, or grill the bread.
- Lightly rub the friselle (or bread) with a clove of garlic.
- Slice the tomatoes and put them on the bruschetta.
- Drizzle with some olive oil and season with salt, pepper and oregano.
