Bruschetta al pomodoro | Tomato bruschetta

Tomato bruschetta, classic, easy and delicious. I’m all about texture so I replaced the toasted bread with ‘friselle’ for extra crunch!


Serves 2


4 friselle or grilled bread

2 handfulls ripe cherry tomatoes

1 clove of garlic

olive oil


freshly ground black pepper



  1. Briefly soake the friselle in water, about 30 seconds, or grill the bread.
  2. Lightly rub the friselle (or bread) with a clove of garlic.
  3.  Slice the tomatoes and put them on the bruschetta.
  4. Drizzle with some olive oil and season with salt, pepper and oregano.
